Meet Danielle and Jason
Hello! We’re Danielle and Jason, and we’re grateful you’re taking the time to learn about us. Originally from Ohio, we’ve lived in Alaska for the past three years. We met in 2015, married two years later in a quiet elopement, and now live in North Pole with our three adopted children: Harlan (5), Gracelyn (4), and Wells (3). We’ve built strong, open relationships with their birth families, all united by the love of our children.
Adoption has always been part of our plan. We discussed it on our first date, but after struggling with infertility and miscarriages, our journey to parenthood took a different path. These challenges deepened our bond and desire to become parents, and adoption has been a beautiful way to grow our family.
We both come from large families and have a wonderful group of friends who feel like family. We are grateful to have such a great support system. Danielle is a nurse practitioner who trains health aides and also travels at times to provide patient care in regional villages, while Jason stays home with the kids, involving them in daily projects and outdoor activities. We prioritize family time- creating a nurturing environment where our children can explore, learn, and grow. We love the opportunities Alaska provides to teach, explore, and make lasting memories in nature.
Thank you for considering our family!
